Beginner Knit Beanie class-Tuesday March 18
Learn something new on your Spring break! Many beginner knitting classes involve knitting squares to practice stitches, but I like making something we are going to use! This class will show you how to cast on, knit and purl in the round, decrease and finish a cute knit beanie. You will also learn how to measure your head so you can knit the right size.
Requirements for this class are 1 skein of Worsted weight yarn and a 16 inch circular knitting needle. You can select the class with materials included (yarn will be a surprise) or you can bring your own with you. If you go in any knit shop and ask for these the employees will know exactly what you are looking for.
This class is taught in 2 parts, the second date will be the following Tuesday March 25 from 6-8 where I will show you the decreases and bind off to finish your hat! Come learn something new and get to know our studio and what we have to offer!
